Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a Fortune Global 500 company and Maharatna PSU, has rolled out its Bharatgas Lite ZIP LPG offering in Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Cuttack and Rourkela, expanding the premium convenience-led proposition as part of its landmark 100-city national rollout.
The offering combines Bharatgas Lite’s lightweight, corrosion-free and transparent composite cylinder with Instant New Connection and Express Delivery, aimed at making LPG access easier, faster and more convenient. The transparent cylinder also enables consumers to check the remaining LPG level, while its lighter design improves handling.
In Bhubaneswar, the rollout comes as the state capital’s expanding urban population increasingly seeks convenience, speed and reliability in everyday household services. The combination of faster delivery, easier cylinder handling and simplified new connections could strengthen BPCL’s appeal among working professionals, young families, students, senior citizens and other urban consumers.
BPCL Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Khanna said Bharatgas Lite ZIP reflects the company’s commitment to simplifying LPG access and meeting evolving lifestyles. He also thanked distributor partners for their support, particularly during recent supply challenges.
Launched in Mumbai on July 18, 2026, Bharatgas Lite ZIP’s Odisha expansion is part of BPCL’s wider strategy to move beyond conventional cylinder delivery and build a more consumer-centric LPG experience across India’s growing cities.
