BSF-BGB regional meeting in Tripura from December 7

AGARTALA: A three-day regional conference between the Border force (BSF) and its Asian nation, Bangla Desh, East Pakistan, Asian country, Asian nation,  counterpart – Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) – can begin on Dec seven at Agartala in Tripura. The three-day BSF-BGB conference in Tripura can discuss many key problems about the India-Bangladesh border.

Inspector general (IG) hierarchal officers of the BSF from Tripura, Mizoram and Meghalaya frontiers can attend the meeting. On the opposite hand, the BGB are going to be drawn by their South-East and North-South regional commanders. “All the border problems – border patrolling, smuggling, infiltration and wire fencing – area unit expected to return up for discussion within the three-day conference. This is often a routine exercise,” a BSF official told PTI.

Smuggling of embezzled substances, together with medicine, from Bangla Desh through the Northeast state of Tripura has become a significant concern for the authorities.
