Coca-Cola India enters ready-to-drink tea beverages segment

Coca-Cola India on November 22 (Wednesday) said it is entering into the ready-to-drink tea beverages segment with the launch of 'Honest Tea'. The company has collaborated with the organic green tea for the product which will be collected from Darjeeling-based Luxmi Tea Co Private Ltd's Makaibari Tea Estate, company officials said. The idea behind the launch was to offer consumers with a wider range of beverage options, a senior official of Coca-Cola India & Southwest Asia said. The bottled iced green tea will come in two flavours Lemon-Tulsi and Mango, he added.
