Reliance Retail enters into joint venture for toy manufacturing

Reliance Retail announced on Sunday (April 23) that it has entered into a joint venture with a Haryana-based company for local production of toys to meet the growing demand. Reliance Retail currently owns the British toy brand Hamless and the homemade toy brand Rowan. The new venture will cater to both toy brands, sources said. Reliance Jio Q4 net profit up 13%

Reliance Jio, the country's largest telecom operator, on Friday reported a 13 per cent increase in net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 2023, the company said in a regulatory filing. In the one-year-ago period, Reliance Jio posted a net profit of Rs 4,173 crore. Its income from operations rose nearly 12 percent to Rs 23,394 crore in the reported quarter from Rs 20,945 crore in the March 2022 quarter.For the year ended March 31, 2023, the company's net profit rose nearly 23 percent to Rs 18,207 crore from Rs 14,817 crore in 2021-22.
