Govt confirms first death in India after Covid vaccination

The government panel that was studying vaccine side-effects has confirmed that a 68-year-old man died due to anaphylaxis -- a severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reaction -- after he was administered a coronavirus vaccine. Speaking with India Today TV, AEFI Chairperson Dr NK Arora confirmed a death following the Covid-19 vaccination but refused to comment further.
