By 2030, CII EXCON to aid India to become the 2nd largest CE market in the world

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) held a roadshow in the city to announce EXCON 2023, attracting industry leaders, government officials, and stakeholders from the infrastructure and construction equipment sector. EXCON, South Asia’s largest construction equipment exhibition organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is scheduled from 12 – 16 December 2023 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, Bengaluru.

EXCON predicts India to become the world’s second-largest and fastest-growing construction equipment market by 2030. This is due to policy reforms, rapid infrastructure expansion, and increased government spending on infrastructure projects, which will help India achieve this milestone.

EXCON 2023, hosted by the Government of Karnataka, will feature over 1200 exhibitors from India and abroad, including the USA, UK, France, Germany, Italy, UAE, South Korea, Singapore, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Romania, and Czech Republic, and attract over 80,000 business visitors over a 5-day period. Mr E L Kiran Babu, Vice President – Marketing, SCHWING Stetter (India) Private Limited said, “It aims to embody our robust infrastructure development, reaffirming India’s leading global position in the construction equipment manufacturing industry.”
