A coordination meeting for the Sacred Exposition of the Holy Relics of Shakyamuni Buddha, scheduled in Tawang from October 31 to November 7, 2026, was held on Tuesday. The meeting was chaired by Tawang Deputy Commissioner, Namgyal Angmo at the DC Conference Hall. The meeting brought together ZPC Tawang Leki Gombu , SP Tawang Darang Tasi, senior district officials, representatives of monasteries and nunneries, Tawang Brigade, heads of offices and other stakeholders to deliberate on security, logistics, crowd management, cleanliness, publicity and coordinated preparations. Arunachal Pradesh Records India’s Highest Revenue Surplus at 12.1% of GSDP

Arunachal Pradesh recorded a revenue surplus equivalent to 12.1 per cent of its Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) in 2024-25, the highest among states and Union Territories with comparable data, Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Chowna Mein said on Tuesday.
