The CEAT Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) has announced a significant investment plan of INR 150 crores over three years to develop world-class racing infrastructure, grassroots development, and ensure world-class events across India. The league will also invest heavily in market making to reach the masses and capture the imagination of sports and adventure-loving Indians.
ISRL plans to launch a global-scale event in India, following the success of Bharat MotoGP. The league aims to capitalize on the event’s popularity and enthusiasm, elevating Supercross to premier motorsport status and introducing it to a broader audience, marking the beginning of a new era in motorcycle racing. Mr. Veer Patel, Co-Founder and Director, Supercross India Pvt. Ltd., emphasized, “It’s about delivering an experience that will not only captivate fans but also inspire the next generation of riders and elevate the sport to unprecedented heights.”
CEAT ISRL is preparing for its first season, set to begin in December 2023, with races at various venues. The league plans to expand to six venues in season two. With 75 registered riders, the league aims to have 6-8 teams for its inaugural season.
