The Center in collaboration with Tata Trusts will establish a hospital in Jatni for cancer treatment with a skill development center for oncology treatment at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) campus.
The hospital will be built with of Rs 650 crore investment. While for the project the Center will contribute Rs 400 crore and the remaining Rs 250 crore the Tata Trust will spend.
This was disclosed by Union Education and Skill Development Minister Dharmendra Pradhan after a meeting with Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh and senior officers of the Tata Memorial Center in New Delhi on Tuesday.
