Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has proposed the creation of a “Southern Economic Corridor” connecting Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. During a chief ministers’ summit today, Naidu argued that a unified economic zone would streamline logistics and manufacturing for the semiconductor and green energy sectors. The proposal includes a shared tax-incentive framework and a joint “single-window” clearance portal for international investors, a move that has already seen preliminary support from neighboring states.
