Chandrayaan-3 mission: Scientists from Assam involved in the team

On Wednesday, 23 August, people all over the country celebrated the successful soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Lunar South Pole of the moon which is said to be the toughest part of the moon itself.

According to the sources, Assam’s two ISRO scientists were part of the mission of Chandrayaan-3 rover on the lunar surface. The family members of scientists Nidhi Sharma, Tinsukia and Chayan Dutta, Lakhimpur towns respectively cried tears of joy as the touchdown happened.

During the interaction, both the family member has also informed that both of the Assam scientists were also part of Chadrayaan-2 mission.

 ”Baba, we did it” were the first words from Nidhi Sharma when she called up her father-in-law Deepak Dev.
