Gangasagar Fair will start in somedays. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will reach to Gangesagar today to check all the preparations for the fair. After inspecting the preparations for the fair, she will hold a high-level meeting. Mamata Banerjee will inaugurate the new helipad on this occation. Also, will hold preparatory meetings with ministers and administrative officers of various departments. Later, Mamata Banerjee will owrship at Kapilmuni Ashram.
Already starting from Kapil Muni’s ashram, the entire fairgrounds have been surrounded by tight security. The ministers in charge are already checking all the details of the fair premises. On January 14 and 15 pilgrims will take a holy dip in the sea on the occasion of Makar Sankranti.
Since there is no Kumbh Mela this time, the administration estimates that there will be a record number of people who will come to the Ganganagar.The Chief Minister can inaugurate the helipad after landing. According to sources, multiple programs can be taken from Wednesday afternoon. As in other years, she can meet the Sannyasis at the Bharat Sevashram Sangha of Sagar. After that, Mamata can worship at Kapil Muni’s temple in Sagardham.
