Chief Wildlife Warden MK Yadav accused for using tiger fund, Assam

Assam’s Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and Head of Forest Force (HoFF) Mahendra Kumar Yadav has been removed as Chief Wildlife Warden (CWLW).

Further a notification was issued that Sandeep Kumar, principal chief conservator of forests (Wildlife and Bio-diversity) cum project director, Assam project on forest and biodiversity conservation society will hold the charge of chief wildlife warden (CWLW) with immediate effect.

The notification was issued by the Environment and Forests department on April 1, Assam.

As per reports, according to an RTI investigation MK Yadav was found misuse of Tiger Conservation Fund (TCF).
