Classic Legends launches ‘Nomads’ riding collective, unite Jawa, Yezdi and BSA riders nationwide

Classic Legends brought together riders of Jawa, Yezdi and BSA under a unified riding collective called Nomads as part of nationwide Republic Day celebrations on January 26. The initiative coincided with the launch of a dedicated community page on the company’s official website titled ‘Nomads: Ride as One, Ride the Legacy’. Republic Day rides were organised across the country, stretching from Jammu to Tamil Nadu and Gujarat to Manipur, reflecting unity in diversity through motorcycling. More than 2,000 riders participated, representing over 20 independent riding communities and more than 150 dealership-led riding groups. Riders from varied age groups, professions and riding styles came together, with seasoned motorcyclists riding alongside first-time tourers and legacy machines sharing the road with modern performance classics.

The Nomads platform aims to consolidate all Jawa, Yezdi and BSA riding groups under a shared identity, enabling riders to easily discover and connect with clubs in their vicinity. According to Classic Legends, the collective has been built by riders themselves and is intended to foster inclusiveness, independence and a sense of belonging beyond brand or region. In Kolkata, the Republic Day rides saw strong participation from dealership-led and independent riding groups, underlining the city’s growing enthusiasm for performance-classic motorcycles. Industry observers note that Kolkata’s vibrant riding culture and active weekend riding circuits make it a key eastern hub for community-led initiatives such as Nomads, which could further strengthen brand engagement in the region.

Anupam Thareja, co-founder of Classic Legends, said the initiative reflects motorcyclists’ desire not just for freedom, but also for community, especially in an increasingly digital and fragmented world.
