Coca-Cola India, in partnership with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), has empowered over 14,000 retailers in Odisha through the Super Power Retailer Program. Launched by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the program has revolutionized the state’s retail sector, focusing on skill enhancement and economic empowerment.
Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO of NSDC, highlighted the program’s role in equipping retailers with essential skills tailored to modern market demands. He emphasized its contribution to fostering entrepreneurship and bolstering local economies. Irene Tan, Vice President of Human Resources at Coca-Cola India & Southwest Asia, emphasized the program’s inclusive approach, noting its impact on diverse communities. In Kolkata’s dynamic market, similar initiatives have catalyzed growth among local retailers, enhancing their business acumen and customer engagement strategies.
The program offers specialized training in customer management, inventory control, and financial literacy, empowering retailers to thrive in competitive environments. Gender diversity is a key focus, with significant participation from women, contributing to broader economic inclusivity.
