Coca-Cola India is scaling up its festive-season operations across Maharashtra and other states, partnering with bottler Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) to strengthen beverage availability across community and retail touch points. The initiative covers festive pandals, Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), neighbourhood markets, eateries and other high-footfall locations.
The company said its portfolio will be available across in-store and at-home occasions through neighbourhood retailers, retail and trade partners and quick-commerce platforms. Affordable pack options, cooling infrastructure and last-mile distribution are being strengthened to ensure access to chilled beverages for consumers during festive gatherings, meals and outings.
Desmond Nikhil D’Souza, Vice President – Integrated Operations (HCCB) & Commercial, Coca-Cola India & Southwest Asia, said the company aims to support festive consumption while creating economic opportunities for local vendors and retailers. Vinay Nair, Chief Commercial Officer, HCCB, said its manufacturing and distribution capabilities, supported by a retail network, would help ensure availability across Maharashtra.
In Kolkata, the festive period presents a key consumption opportunity for beverage companies, with pandals, eateries, neighbourhood stores and home celebrations generating demand across multiple occasions. Coca-Cola’s ‘Locally Yours’ campaign also places neighbourhood retailers at the centre of its festive distribution strategy.
The company is additionally supporting used PET bottle collection at pandals and a ‘Waste to Wonder’ live art initiative with Doodle Mapuls, transforming discarded bottle caps and labels into street art.
