Cognizant launches AI-powered Cyber Defense Centre in Bengaluru

Global IT services firm Cognizant has launched its Next-Generation Cyber Defense Center (CDC) in Bengaluru, strengthening its global cybersecurity operations amid growing digital threats to enterprises. The new facility is Cognizant’s largest Cyber Defense Center and forms a key part of its worldwide CDC network. It has been set up to deliver advanced, AI-powered cybersecurity managed services, engineering support and transformation services to clients across industries and regions.

According to the company, the Bengaluru centre will provide round-the-clock monitoring and rapid response to cyber threats. It includes an integrated threat research lab and is supported by strategic partnerships with leading technology companies. For businesses in Kolkata, especially those in IT services, finance, healthcare and manufacturing, the move signals stronger access to global cybersecurity capabilities as companies increase their digital operations. With more organisations in the Kolkata market adopting cloud platforms and data-driven systems, demand for robust cyber defence has been rising steadily.

Cognizant said the centre combines its proprietary technologies, including Cognizant Neuro® Cybersecurity, with industry platforms to help clients predict, prevent and manage advanced cyber risks. The company has also partnered with academic institutions to train future cybersecurity professionals.
