Transport Corporation of India (TCI) has arranged and contributed 150 Oxygen Concentrators of 10-Litre capacity for the service of the people of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. They did it through their TCI Seaways division and the CSR arm TCI Foundation. In the wake of the second wave of Covid-19, TCI Group took this initiative to extend support to the people of Andaman & Nicobar in their efforts towards fighting the pandemic.
Mr Sunil Anchipaka (Deputy Commissioner and Nodal officer), Mr. Hari Kallikkat (Additional District Magistrate), Ms Yasaswani (Assistant Commissioner), Mr. Chandramani Rout (Chief Port Administrator, Port Management Board from the A&N Administration) and Mr. Surendra Prahladka (President), Mr. Mohd. Jadwet (Past President), Mr. Girish Arora (Past President), Mr. P J Sekhar (Sr. Vice-President) and Mr. Chandrasekhar (Vice President from the Andaman Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Portblair) were present at the handing over ceremony of the Oxygen Concentrators.
On this occasion, TCI thanked the Chief Secretary, the Deputy Commissioner, Shri Sunil Anchipakka and all government officials associated with this social cause. Mr. PK. Kaushik, Vice-President, TCI Seaways represented TCI group. Noteworthy, over decades, TCI Group has always shared a strong connection with the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
