Cultural harmony flourishes as ‘Vividhata ka Amrit Mahotsav’ concludes in New Delhi

The Rashtrapati Bhavan resonated with cultural vibrancy and economic potential as the inaugural chapter of ‘Vividhata ka Amrit Mahotsav’ drew to a close, showcasing the rich diversity of Northeast India. Led by Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu, alongside esteemed dignitaries such as Cabinet Minister Shri. G. Kishan Reddy and Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Development of Northeastern Region of India, Shri. Kiren Rijiju, the event marked a significant milestone in promoting both cultural exchange and economic development.

Organized by the Ministry of Development of Northeastern Region in collaboration with the Northeastern Handicrafts & Handlooms Development Corporation Limited (NEHHDC), the Mahotsav served as a platform for artisans and entrepreneurs from the region to showcase their craft and products. With a focus on fostering entrepreneurship and boosting the tourism sector, the event attracted widespread acclaim from government officials, business leaders, and visitors alike.

Hon’ble President Murmu, in her address, emphasized the economic significance of cultural initiatives like ‘Vividhata ka Amrit Mahotsav,’ highlighting their role in promoting tourism and generating employment opportunities in the Northeast. As part of Udyan Utsav 2024 at Amrit Udyan within the Rashtrapati Bhavan premises, the Mahotsav exemplified the intersection of culture, commerce, and community, laying the foundation for future economic growth and cultural exchange initiatives.
