The story of Deepa Chakraborty, a mother and a woman in technology space who leads by example and ensures a seamless shopping experience for customers.
With over a decade of experience in Information Technology, Deepa Chakraborty, a native of Kolkata always knew technology was a calling for her! She joined Amazon as Rapid Asset Deployment Manager, IT Supply Chain, in 2020. Deepa says, ” The leadership principles guide us through day to day activities and help us make big decisions and navigate through difficult situations adding to my growth.”
Coming from a humble beginning, Deepa has always enjoyed the festive season, she finds joy in supporting rituals and sharing love and happiness; on top of that the added excitement of finishing this season and entering another makes her look forward to this season. Deepa also believes in giving back to the community, she has been part of a lot of CSR initiatives and is keen on inspiring young girls by teaching them. She also desires to give full time voluntary service to the Blind students in the Center near her home after her retirement. Deepa is amongst many women who are successfully playing roles of a mother, wife while excelling in their careers.
