In a step to enhance the operational capabilities of the military and also the Indian Coast Guard in future, the Defence Acquisition Council (DAC), headed by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh accorded approval for Acceptance inevitably (AoN) for twenty-four Capital Acquisition Proposals. The seventh edition of Exercise Sangam, a joint military service division exercise between Indian Navy MARCOs and naval forces SEALs commenced in state. This edition which is able to see personnel from SEAL Team 5 based mostly at city, US and Indian Navy MARCOs from INS Abhimanyu along aims at exchange of concepts and experiences on numerous aspects of maritime special operations.
