Delhi : Health Minister Satyendar Jain Tests Positive For Coronavirus.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain has tested positive for coronavirus. He took a second test today after his fever worsened. The minister’s first test had come negative yesterday.
“Today my covid test found to be positive, (sic)” Satyendar Jain wrote on Twitter.

The doctors had decided to go for a second test after observing Coronavirus like symptoms, sources had said earlier.

India registered the highest-ever spike of 2,003 COVID-19 fatalities pushing the death to over 11,000 on Wednesday. Maharashtra accounted for the highest 1,409 fatalities taking its COVID-19 death tally to 5,537, while coronavirus deaths in Delhi surged by 437 taking its toll to 1,837, according to the official data updated at 8 am.

Mr Jain was admitted to Delhi’s Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty hospital on Monday night with high fever and complaints of breathing trouble.

In a tweet on Tuesday, the 55-year-old Aam Aadmi Party leader — — who attended a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday — wrote: “Due to high grade fever and a sudden drop of my oxygen levels last night I have been admitted to RGSSH. Will keep everyone updated (sic)”.
