The head of the Delhi State Haj Committee, Kausar Jahan, met with Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena on Saturday to request his assistance about a notice it had received to vacate space it had rented from the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB).
The BJP has power over the Haj committee.
Afterwards, Kausar and Shazia Ilmi, the party’s national spokesperson, accused the Arvind Kejriwal administration of harassing the Haj committee during a press conference held at the Delhi BJP office.
