Delhi’s Air Quality deteriorates with onset of winter, ‘severe’ in Noida

The national capital woke up enveloped in a thick layer of smog on Wednesday morning, with the Air Quality Index dipping to 385 which is the ‘very poor’ category, according to the reports of SAFAR (System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research).

In comparison to tuesday, the air quality slightly deteriorated today in the state.

For the time being, the air quality in Noida was in the ‘severe’ category on Wednesday morning with the AQI measuring at 401, according to SAFAR. The number 391 on Tuesday. The AQI measured in Gurugram was 339, which is also in the ‘very poor’ category.

The lowest temperature in Delhi settled three notches below normal on Tuesday at 7.3 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature is likely to settle around 27 degrees Celsius.
