Dimapur Eastern Nagaland Students’ Union (DENSU) in alliance with National Integrated Forum of Artists & Activists (NIFAA) has informed that it would be organising blood donation camp on March 23, 2021, 10 a.m., at district hospital Dimapur.
In a press release, DENSU stated that the core purpose of organising the blood donation camp was to ensure that adequate blood was stored at district hospital for emergency requirement, with a purpose to save lives in time of emergency.
The union encouraged citizens to come forward and participate in the blood donation drive and informed that each donor would be acknowledged with certificates and their names would be entered in the e-directory.

It may be mentioned that NIFAA is organising the nationwide blood & plasma donation awareness campaign across the country and gather 90,000 units of blood on the 90th martyrdom day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev on March 23. The campaign would be included in the Guinness Book of World Records for a global outreach.
