Detonators recovered highlight threat at Indo-Myanmar border

Assam Rifles and Mizoram Police successfully recovered a large cache of war-like stores near the Tiau River along the Indo-Myanmar border. Acting on specific intelligence, the forces intercepted a suspicious motorcycle near the border. However, the rider, sensing trouble, abandoned the bike and fled across the river.

Upon thorough inspection, security personnel discovered 39,900 detonators and a mobile phone concealed on the bike. The recovery highlights the efficiency of intelligence gathering, meticulous planning, and seamless coordination between Assam Rifles and Mizoram Police.

The recovered items have been handed over to Mizoram Police for further investigation.
