Dr. Rashmi Saluja, the Executive Chairperson of Religare Enterprises and Chairperson of GTTCI (Global Trade & Technology Council India), has been conferred with the prestigious International Buddha Peace Award. The accolade was presented during the ‘Mahasaddhammajotikadhaja’ Title conferring Ceremony at the Myanmar Embassy in New Delhi, a testament to Dr. Saluja’s outstanding contributions to fostering peace and global harmony.
The award ceremony, graced by the presence of His Excellency Mr. Moe Kyaw Aung, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to India, underscored the significance of Dr. Saluja’s endeavors in promoting peace amid the complexities of our modern world. In her acceptance speech, Dr. Saluja emphasized the pivotal role of peace in India’s ethos, urging for collective action towards a more peaceful world.
The event saw the attendance of eminent personalities including Abhidhaza Maharaththa Guru, Agga Maha Pandita Dr. Ashin Nyanissara, and Abhidhaza Maharaththa Guru, Dr. Bhaddant Nyanesara, alongside dignitaries from various embassies, diplomats, and over 150 Buddhist monks and followers.
