Recently a report released by the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has revealed that nearly 8.7 lakh foreign nationals became US citizens during the fiscal year 2023. According to the annual progress report, more than 59,100 (6.7%) Indians were enlisted as bona fide US citizens in 2023. Of the total, more than one lakh Mexicans obtained US citizenship. Actually right now many Indians are getting US citizenship and becoming overseas Indians.
