Eicher Trucks & Buses, a business unit of VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (VECV), has expanded its presence in the Northeast with the inauguration of a new 3S dealership, Joseph Automobiles, in Aizawl, Mizoram. The facility will provide sales, service and spare parts under one roof, strengthening customer access to Eicher vehicles and after-sales support in the region.
Strategically located along National Highway 6, the dealership is positioned to serve transporters and fleet operators across Mizoram, particularly along the Aizawl-Champhai-Zokhawthar corridor connecting to the Myanmar border. The facility features multiple service bays, including two dedicated accident repair bays.
The dealership is expected to cater to transportation requirements arising from the movement of agricultural and horticultural produce, including ginger, turmeric and pineapple, as well as construction materials and other commodities.
Sumit Dewan, SVP, Customer Service and Network Strategy, VECV, said the facility would improve service response, support vehicle uptime and enhance ownership experience for customers across Aizawl and neighbouring markets.
Eicher offers trucks ranging from 3T to 55T GVW and buses with seating capacities of 12 to 72 passengers. Its BS VI-compliant EUTECH6 platform, My Eicher connected vehicle technology and Eicher Uptime Centre form part of its service and technology ecosystem.
