EIL secures business worth Rs 4,500 crore in 2022-23

Engineers India Limited (EIL) on Monday said it has recorded significant growth in business in the financial year 2022-23 (FY2022-23). According to an official statement by EIL, it has secured business worth over Rs 4,500 crore (approx) in FY 2022-23. However, business worth Rs 1,700 crore was secured in FY 2021-22. Apart from other areas, the business secured from international assignments has seen a significant jump from less than Rs 50 crore to nearly Rs 600 crore in FY 2021-22.

While maintaining its leadership position in the hydrocarbon sector, EIL has also acquired significant business in the infrastructure sector and marked significant entry into the new segments of green hydrogen, waste-to-fuel, niche chemicals and defense.
During the year, EIL signed MoUs/MoAs and strategic alliances with leading companies and technology providers in the oil sector for business growth. As EIL consolidates its presence in Nigeria and the Middle East, it has secured projects in new geographical areas such as Guyana.
