ELECRAMA 2025, the world’s largest electrical exhibition, commenced on an ambitious note at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, highlighting India’s growing leadership in the global energy transition. The 16th edition of the event, organized by the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA), was inaugurated by Union Power Minister Shri Manohar Lal Khattar, emphasizing the government’s commitment to modernizing India’s energy infrastructure and achieving sustainable growth.
With a focus on India’s vision for Viksit Bharat 2047 and its rapid strides in renewable energy, the event witnessed participation from global industry leaders, including CEOs Oliver Blum of Schneider Electric and Matthias Rebellius of Siemens Smart Infrastructure. Addressing the audience, Minister Khattar stated, “India is poised to become the world’s third-largest economy by 2027, with power driving this transformation. We aim to achieve 800 GW of generation capacity by 2030, with 50% from renewables, reinforcing India’s position as a clean energy leader.”
Key discussions at ELECRAMA 2025 revolved around energy storage, electric mobility, AI-driven power systems, and smart grids. With over 1,100 exhibitors and an expected 400,000 business visitors, the event is set to drive major industry collaborations and policy dialogues. The Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM) will facilitate international trade connections, while the World Utility Summit will explore the future of energy transition and grid modernization.
