Elephant tramples man to death in Assam

A 22-year-old man was killed by a wild elephant in Assam’s Nagaon district.

It is come to know that the died man’s name is Vijay Kanwar. He is a resident of Amsoi under the Raha police station in the district. He had gone to the nearby forest to graze his cattle and then he was attacked by a wild elephant.

Locals recovered his body and admitted him to a nearby hospital.

The forest department has continued patrolling in the area.
