The ET Industry Leaders Awards North East 2025, an initiative by The Times of India in association with Byatikram Group, concluded successfully at Hotel Vivanta, Guwahati, recognizing outstanding achievers across education, healthcare, journalism, art, and social service. The event drew prominent business leaders, innovators, and social contributors from across the North East on a single platform.
The ceremony began with the National and State Anthem and a traditional lamp lighting. Distinguished attendees included Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Rana Pratap Kalita, Dr. B. Kalyan Chakraborty, Prof. Dr. Nachiketa Tripathi, actor Nishita Goswami, and Dr. Saumen Bharatiya, President of Byatikram Group. Thirty-one individuals and organizations, including Prof. Dr. Sangeeta Tripathi, Wasbir Hussain, Jatin Bora, Health City Hospital, Narayana Etechno School, and The Green School International, were felicitated for their exceptional contributions.
Lt. Gen. Kalita praised the North East’s talent, while Dr. Chakraborty highlighted the event’s role in motivating the next generation. Dr. Bharatiya emphasized the region’s innovation potential and lauded The Times of India’s efforts in showcasing North Eastern excellence.
In Guwahati, the event reinforced the city’s position as a growing hub for business and innovation. Local enterprises and educational institutions received significant recognition, boosting investor confidence and signaling Guwahati’s rising role in fostering entrepreneurship, healthcare initiatives, and educational excellence.
The evening also featured musical performances by Sanskrita Malakar and violinist Ekta PT Hazarika, closing the ceremony with inspiration and celebration.
