EV fires: Nitin Gadkari calls for mandatory recalls, stringent penalty for errant companies

Sending out a strong message on recent electric powered fire incidents, Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday said an expert committee will probe the accidents and additionally talked about heavy fines, among other measures.
