‘Everyone will leave’, why did Manisha Koirala say this?

Actress Manisha Koirala’s performance in the ‘Hiramandi’ web series is appreciated. At one point, the actress was away from acting for several days due to cancer. Manisha said that after she was diagnosed with cancer, even those whom she thought were close friends also drifted away. Even those who considered themselves part of their extended family did not keep track of the cancer-stricken Manisha. Only her family members were with her at this time. She was very lonely. Finally, the actress had to seek the help of a psychiatrist.

In an interview, Manisha says, “This visit was very educational for me. I used to think that I had many friends. Partying together, hanging out, and having fun with friends I thought would be by my side even in the days of pain! But where is it?

She also says, “I felt very alone at that time. I realized that only my family was with me. I have a large ‘Koirala’ ancestry. No one was around. I have a big family. They are all quite well off. Anyone could have come. Only my parents, brother, and brother-in-law were with me. No one else Then I realized that even if everyone leaves me, these people will be with me. They are a priority for me.

Manisha was diagnosed with uterine cancer in 2012. She was treated in New York. I can’t work as fast as before because of cancer. Sometimes there is mental discomfort. Manisha says, I can understand how my body affects my mind after cancer. I was often in a bad mood while doing ‘Hiramandi’.
