Singer Falguni Pathak doesn’t seem satisfied with Neha Kakkar’s new song ‘O Sajna’, which is a reimagining of the song ‘Mayane Payal Hai Chankai’.
Earlier this week, Neha remade the song, much to the chagrin of a certain section of fans, who trolled Neha and even tagged the original singer in their comments. These trolls and negative comments caught the attention of Falguni Pathak. One user wrote, “Band karo ye pap. Please someone ban these autotune singers and their remakes.” Another user wrote, “Sad about our childhood memories being ruined with this cruise.”
Falguni Pathak did not comment but shared some negative comments about his fan. This clearly proved that he is not happy with Neha Kakkar’s song.
Even in a conversation with Pinkvilla, she said that she is happy to see how much fans like the original one. “I feel overwhelmed and touched to get so much love for the song, so had to share their feelings,” she said. She also shared that the remaker of the song ‘O Sajna’ did not approach her.
After asking the question if she plans to take a legal route and sue the producer and the singer, she replied, “I wish I could but I don’t have the right.”
She also informed that after she expressed his displeasure on Instagram by re-sharing posts of people trolling the new song, the makers of ‘O Sajna’ did not reach out to her.
