Filmfare has announced the inaugural edition of the Filmfare Awards Assamese 2024, a groundbreaking chapter in the Indian film industry’s legacy. The event, which will honor Assamese movies released between January 1st, 2023, and December 31st, 2023, will take place at the prestigious Taj Vivanta in Guwahati on March 10, 2024. The event will feature performances by some of the biggest names in Assamese cinema, including Jatin Bora, Nishita Goswami, PreetyKongana, Urmila Mahanta, Priyam Pallabee, Ranjit Gogoi, Gayatri Hazarika, and Dikshu Sarma.
The ceremony will be led by Kopil Bora and Aimee Baruah, who will showcase their infectious energy and charisma. The esteemed panel includes Jitesh Pillai, Shankar Lall Goenka, Sanjive Narain, Partha Sarathi Nandy, actor and anchor Kopil Bora, and actor and director Aimee Baruah.
