Flights Services Hit, Massive Traffic Jams In Delhi After Heavy Rainfall

At least 7 flights were diverted and forty offerings were delayed at Delhi airport due to heavy rain in the countrywide capital, according to news agency PTI.
At least twenty five flight departures and fifteen flight arrivals had been delayed due to horrific weather on Wednesday, PTI reported, quoting sources. Traffic, in many parts of the city, used to be hit too due to the heavy downpour.

Despite suffering the inconvenience of site visitors jams and water-logging, users on social media appeared to enjoy the drop in temperature brought via the showers in the city.

Delhi’s site visitors police on Twitter alerted residents to keep away from routes such as Aurbindo stretch, Moochand Underpass on Ring Road, and Aurbindo marg from IIT to Adhchini.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has estimated “enhanced rainfall activity” over northwest India for two-three days.
