Future Generali leverages tech and partnerships to revolutionize life insurance in Sikkim

Future Generali India Life Insurance Company Ltd, appointed as the lead insurer for Sikkim by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), is pioneering a tech-driven strategy to enhance life insurance penetration and financial inclusion in the state.

Combining on-ground efforts with cutting-edge digital outreach, Future Generali aims to educate Sikkim’s youth about the importance of insurance. Strategic partnerships with NGOs will facilitate workshops and awareness camps, while digital campaigns and student-focused activities like interactive sessions and essay competitions aim to boost financial literacy.

At the helm of this innovative approach are MD & CEO Alok Rungta, along with Manoj Singh, India Project Head for Sikkim, Geetanjali Chugh Kothari, and Kavita Nawbag, Branch Head of Gangtok. Their leadership underscores the company’s commitment to using technology to drive social change. Future Generali also plans to meet IRDAI’s rural and social sector targets through the promotion of the Bima Vistaar product and the establishment of Bima Vahak distribution channels.
