Google Plans to Delete Accounts That Haven’t Been Used in Over Two Years

The inactive google accounts which has remained unused for 2 years will be deleted by Alphabet Inc’s Google as per the reports.

This step has been taken in a bid to prevent security threats including hacks and this policy change will be applicable only for personal accounts not for organisations like Schools or businesses.

The details which will be erased by deleting the accounts includes Gmail, Docs, Drive, Meet and Calendar, as well as YouTube and Google Photos. Prior to the deletion, notifications will be send to the account email address and recovery mail of the inactive google accounts.
