Vice President CP Radhakrishnan addressed the 20th Convocation of Mizoram University in Aizawl, congratulating graduates and urging them to contribute to the vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047. He highlighted the transformation of the Northeast over the last decade under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing improved connectivity, notably the new Bairabi–Sairang railway line. The event was attended by notable figures including the Governor of Mizoram, the Chief Minister, and the Vice Chancellor of the university. Radhakrishnan’s maiden visit included a ceremonial welcome and a special cultural program hosted by the government of Mizoram, featuring a performance by PM Rashtriya Bal Puraskar awardee Esther Lalduhawmi.
