As many as 16 Afghan evacuees, out of 78 who landed in Delhi yesterday i.e, on Tuesday have tested Covid positive. Delhi reports 17 new COVID cases, deaths toll zero

For the fourth consecutive day on Monday, Delhi recorded zero Covid deaths, according to the latest bulletin issued by the health department. The national capital recognized 17 new coronavirus cases during this period, pushing the tally of COVID-19 cases to over 14.37 lakh, while the death toll mounted to 25,079. The West Bengal government declared on Saturday (August 14) that all stores and business establishments, including pubs and restaurants, will be open till regular work hours, but not later than 10.30 p.m. From Monday onwards, the restriction will be in effect.
