Politician Hema Malini recently expressed regret over a ‘mistake’ she did on social media. A day ago actress turned politician wished her fans a festival month through her tweet “It is the Harvest season now. Tamizh Puthandu (New year), Baisakhi (Punjab), Bihu (Bihar) and Pohela Baisakh or Naba Barsha (Bengal) are some of the festivals celebrated. Wish you all a wonderful festival month.”
After her tweet she was criticised for not being aware of festivals because she mistakenly mentioned Bihu as a festival of Bihar instead of Assam.
As soon as she realised her mistake then the actress apologised on social media and tweeted, “By mistake, I have put Bihu is a festival celebrated in Bihar. I am sorry! That should read Bihu, festival of Assam,”
