Hero to debut in UK & key European Countries with EV vehicles in 2024

Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest motorcycle and scooter manufacturer, announced strategic initiatives at EICMA 2023, including expanding its electric mobility footprint, entering new ICE vehicle categories, and entering European markets. The company unveiled three concept vehicles and three production-ready vehicles at EICMA.  It also announced a road-map to enter the European markets such as Spain, France, and the UK by mid-2024.

Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the VIDA V1 Pro for Europe and UK markets. The VIDA V1 is the company’s first e-scooter, launched under its emerging mobility brand, VIDA. Hero MotoCorp also unveiled the Concept 2.5RXTunt, a new category for the company. The company also unveiled two EV concepts, the Lynx and Acro, which are a new take on urban mobility.

 Hero MotoCorp plans to enter key European markets, starting with Spain and France, and launching operations in the United Kingdom. Commercial operations are expected to begin in mid-2024, and Hero MotoCorp will also introduce its premium range of ICE motorcycles and scooters to these countries. At the company’s stall at EICMA CEO Niranjan Gupta expressed excitement on collaboration with credible partners to start commercial operations in the UK, Spain, and France by mid-2024.
