The Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC) election experienced a voter turnout of 83.99% across 25 constituencies, with a total of 56,873 registered voters (27,854 men and 29,019 women). The Sakeilui constituency had the highest turnout at 94.59%, while Lawngtlai–Chandmary had the lowest at 73.54%.
A total of 111 polling stations were established, facing challenges in some areas due to difficult terrain. Various political parties participated, including the ruling Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM), Mizo National Front (MNF), Congress (INC), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and independent candidates. Vote counting is scheduled for December 9, 2025, and the current term of the MDCs ends on December 18, 2025. The LADC oversees the Lawngtlai and Sangau subdivisions in the Lawngtlai district of Mizoram.
