Himachal Day is celebrated on April 15

On April 15 every year Himachal Day is celebrated. Actually it was on this day in 1948 that Himachal Pradesh was created as a province of India, with the amalgamation of around 30 princely states. Notably, Himachal Pradesh was actually granted full statehood on January 25, 1971. In fact Himachal Day is observed as an official public holiday in the state.  This is actually good that today we are celebrating Himachal Day and think Himachal Pradesh as an important part of India.

Actually Himachal Pradesh is very beautiful place and people not only from India but from all over the world want to visit there. It has many beautiful mountains and cold weather which makes it very special. Today India has many states and for this reason India is very diverse. But with diversity India is united and everyone live with unity. In reality it is good that people are giving so much importance to Himachal Pradesh and think it is very beautiful place.
