Himanta Biswa Sarma accepts Kejriwal’s invitation for tea

On Sunday, Kejriwal visited Assam and addressed a rally. During the rally he spoke up on Assam CM and invited him for tea and lunch in Delhi.

Kejriwal, the National Convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said publicly, “I invite Himanta babu to come to my house in Delhi for tea. And if he can make time, also have a meal with me. I will show him around the city, the wonderful work we have done there.”

Currently Sarma is in Dwarka to attend Shree Krushna-Rukshmani Vivah Satkar Samaroh (Shree Krishna-Rukmini marriage reception) organised by the Gujarat Pavitra Yatradham Vikas Board, marking the culmination of the five-day-long Madhavpur cultural fair.

During the media interaction he was asked about the reply towards Kejriwal’s invite, “He has invited me for lunch. As soon as I receive a formal letter, I will go for lunch,” Sarma said.
