Hoax bomb threat on Delhi-bound flight

An investigation into the bomb threat against a Delhi-bound flight that landed in the national capital on Friday morning has begun, Police stated.
As per the report of PTI, The Central Industrial Security Force received a warning of a bomb on the Moscow-Delhi flight through an email.
All passengers and crew members on board the flight were immediately disembarked and the flight was checked.

According to a PTI report, A senior police official informed that nothing has been found so far and the plane has been dismantled, .
“Last night a call came in about a bomb on a flight coming from Moscow to Delhi. At around 3.20 am the flight landed in Delhi. All passengers and crew members disembarked. The flight is being checked and investigation is on,” Delhi Police said, as quoted by ANI.

This comes days after the Indian Air Force (IAF) had to shadow an Iranian Mahan Air flight with Su-30MKI fighter jets after receiving input from Lahore’s Air Traffic Control (ATC) about a possible bomb threat, which turned out to be false. Mahan Air flight W581 en route from Tehran to Guangzhou, China was issued an alert.
