Minister of Health & Family Welfare, S. Pangnyu Phom inaugurated RIDF project, Horti link road and NMISF Agri project at Etayongsho and Chichemleiven villages on January 28.
According to DIPR report, in his inaugural speech the minister while lauding the department for successful completion of the project asserted that roads were gateway of development for overall progress of the society.
Expressing that it was a fortunate day for the farmers to avail the opportunity provided, Pangnyu also encouraged the general public to give more effort and keen interest in making use of the road for the greater benefit of all.
Deputy commissioner M. Shayung Phom also spoke and exhorted the gathering while the DAO, Longleng S. Yongchang Phom highlighted on the project.
Invocation and welcome address was proposed by Adoa pastor Yachem Baptist Attoi and Manlu Phom Head GB Noksosang village respectively. Vote of thanks and benediction was pronounced by Longnyu Phom 2nd Barrick Yachem and Rev. T. I. Lakba pastor Noksosang Baptist Attoi.
It may be mentioned that the project was commenced on May 26, 2020 and was completed on December 10, 2020 and implemented by the department of Horticulture.
