Indian film director and screenwriter Koduri Srisaila Sri Rajamouli, professionally known as S. S. Rajamouli’s much-awaited film RRR has seen a huge success in the box-office. The film hit a big record in the West. It features Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles. They work together for the first time on screen.
The film has earned $5million on its first day and set to register $15 million on opening weekend in the U.S. RRR became the first Indian film to earn the $3 million club from its premieres. In the US the movie is eyeing to close opening weekend at $15 million.

RRR is about a fictional story which is set in the 1920s pre-independent era. It is based on the lives of well-known revolutionaries and two real heroes – Alluri Sitarama Raju, the role played by Ram Charan and Komaram Bheem, the role which is played by Jr NTR. It is also a tale of revenge just like other films of S. S. Rajamouli. The film also stars Ajay Devgan, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani and Alia Bhatt.

The film has been made on a budget of over 300 crore. The movie had a grand release on 25th March worldwide on a record number of screens. The film has been dubbed and released in Hindi.
